This is Scrappy, who I wrote about yesterday. She is 6 inches tall when on her hind feet (begging for a peanut) which doesn't include her bushy tail. She weighs about a pound. She is much smaller than her cousin the Grey Squirrel. I managed to pick her up (once) before a got a nice stratch from her hind legs. I've decided not to try and pick her up anymore....at least for now. She is eating sunflower kernals that Julie put on the Bar-B-Que for her. She also has a cob of corn available, and of course, we feed her lots of peanuts in the shell. That is her favorite treat.
